Actual Bottom 3:

ALLISON – Second time in three weeks in the bottom three. If she had received the least number of votes, Simon implied what we suspected: she would be saved. Here’s the problem for her going forward: being in the bottom for two out of three weeks is a disturbing pattern for Simon. In his mind, maybe the pubic does not really like her and maybe she can’t win after all. If she stumbles yet again and comes in last in a coming week, I do not think Simon will vote to save her. And, I will be sad.

ANOOP – Survived the death “first performer of the night” slot and another silly bad-Indian of Hip-Hop act. Can he figure out who he truly is before his warped frat-boy self image takes him out?

MEGAN – Finally. And, she was clearly so very ready to go. But, wasn’t it perfect that with no pressure at the end (not having to sing for her life or for audience votes), she gave her best performance since being on the show? Anyways, thank goodness for us moving on.

One last note, I might have a tough time ever listening to “Don’t Stop Believin” by Journey ever again. Who’s with me?!? Thanks, American Idol for nothing.
